Florida Gators win 1st NCAA Tournament of 2004

The University of Florida Gators won their own SunTrust Gator Invitational Tournament this weekend, defeating the University of Alabama-Birmingham and 13 other collegiate teams.

Teams from the University of Kentucky, and the University of North Florida, finished in third and fourth place respectively.

The best individual player was Chris Cousins of UofAB, shooting a 67 70 70 for a three round total of 207 or 3 under par. Congrats Chris.
